RSLES welcomes applications from lifting engineers, appointed persons, lifting planners, crane supervisors, rigging professionals, lifting equipment inspection engineers, and organisations operating within lifting and access engineering sectors.
Scope of Recognition
RSLES recognition may apply to, subject to applicable schemes:
- Lifting operations planning and appointed person practice
- Crane and lifting machinery operation and supervision
- Rigging and slinging operations
- Lifting equipment inspection and thorough examination (LOLER)
- Access systems and working at height management
- Lifting engineering governance and safety management
- Lifting training provision and competence assessment
How the Process Works
- Register on the secure BOMEQP platform
- Confirm eligibility for applicable recognition scope
- Submit application with required documentation
- Review by RSLES evaluation panel
- Decision issued in writing
